Farmers Market at DesignTalk 2025

Bergþóra Guðnadóttir and Jóel Pálsson, founders of Farmers Market will be speaking at DesignTalks, taking place on the 2nd of April in Harpa, Reykjavik with the theme of The Source.

Farmers Market is an Icelandic design company and clothing brand, founded in 2005 by an artist couple, designer Bergthora Gudnadottir and musician Jóel Pálsson celebrating it’s 20th Anniversary this year! With strong ties to the vibrant Icelandic music and design scene, the Farmers Market design concept and inspiration draws from Icelandic roots, combining classic Nordic design elements with chic modernity. Natural fabrics, craftmanship and respect for the environment are key values of the brand. Authentically styled, yet sophisticated and wearable, the clothing is suited for a wide range of occasions, outdoor activities as well as city life.

The DesignTalks programme will revolve around The source in all its forms. Whether it’s taking a step back, a moment to clear our minds, reconnecting with the roots or restoring ourselves.
