Our aim is to create a platform to highlight the importance of investing in design and the opportunities involved. Why should we invest in design and what funding avenues are open to designers?
Experienced individuals from the design and finance sectors share their vision, answer questions and participate in discussions about this important topic.
Speakers and participants are: Anders Färdig, CEO Design House Stockholm, Sigurður Þorsteinsson, Chief Design Officer, Design Group Italia, Ragna Margrét Guðmundsdóttir, Pikkoló, Helga Árnadóttir, CEO, Tulipop og Helga Valfells, Crowberry Capital. Snorri Másson, broadcast journalist, moderates the event.
Discussions will be in English and hosted in Landsbankinn’s new headquarters at Reykjastræti 6. Registration is required, as attendance is limited.

Landsbankinn invites you to visit! The new headquarters of Landsbankinn at Reykjastræti 6 are designed to boost collaboration, contribute to sustainable development and a dynamic and lively culture in the city centre.
A guided tour of the building is led by Halldóra Vífilsdóttir, Project Manager of the undertaking, and Helgi Mar Hallgrímsson, architect of the building. Each tour takes around 30 minutes. This is a unique opportunity to get an inside look at this new and exciting structure in the heart of Reykjavík. The event is full.
Building for the Future
Design and ideology of Landsbankinn’s new headquarters.
Landsbankinn’s new building at Reykjastræti is intended to contribute to a dynamic culture and promote collaboration. The structure is an important part of a new neighbourhood that has risen in the vicinity of Harpa in the Reykjavík city centre. The speakers will present the ambitious goals for a modern workplace, sustainability, light, flow, and role in the local environment that guided the entire design and construction process. Following the presentations, guests are invited to take a tour of the building.
