Families, look at these events!
Children and City Planning
Who decides how our houses are arranged and where? Who makes the choice of drawing our streets with straight rulers or making them meander organically? Are the streets serving pedestrians and cyclists or cars? How are the spaces between our houses, can you stumble upon something fun on street corners? Where and how are the playgrounds? Has someone asked kids what they think?
Ceramics - Family workshop with Hanna Dís Whitehead
Designer Hanna Dís leads an expedition into the world of ceramics. We learn to mold the shapes, objects and beings of our dreams. Hanna Dís Whitehead (1982) graduated Cum Laude from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2011. She focuses on a hands-on approach, working in a very personal way, interweaving story, shape, materials and colour.

The Reduction Roadmap is an Earth-shot project that works to translate the Paris Agreement and the Planetary Boundary for Climate Change into industry-specific reduction targets for new Danish housing projects.
Smiðja invites you to visit!
A guided tour of the building is led by Steve Christer and Margrét Harðardóttir, architects of the building, Saturday, april 5th. Each tour takes around 45 minutes. This is a unique opportunity to get an inside look at this new and exciting structure in the heart of Reykjavík.

The exhibition will showcase the winning proposal, as well as other submissions.

With the exhibition, the designer wants to emphasize the nature of the queen through graphics, expressions and experiences.
