Aldís Yngvadóttir
As a ceramicist, I deal equally with sculpture and utilitarian objects, both wheel thrown and hand-built. I like to try new things and experiment with shapes and textures. Local materials fascinate me and this is reflected in my work with Icelandic clay and minerals. In this way, there is an opportunity to have sustainability as a guiding principle in my creation.
