Katrin Valgerdur Karlsdottir (Kvalka Ceramic Studio) graduated from the Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2001. Her pieces of art are one of a kind. Formed in her hands with great care and joy. She likes it when "things" happen while creating. Then, a new idea can be born. She uses live fire to fire her work. It is a constant battle for survival or destruction.
