Ólöf Einarsdóttir

My works are mostly inspired by the Icelandic nature and landscape. Furthermore the materiel itself - the thread has guided my way ( been my path). In my work I use for a great deal linen. sisal and horsehair and card weaving has been my most frequently used method. I do wall pieces as well as free hanging three-dimensional pieces - large and small. For many years I have also been collaborating with glass artist Sigrún Ó.Einarsdóttir on three dimensional art.
