Helga Lilja graduated with BA in fashion from the Icelandic Academy of the Arts in 2006. After working a few years as assistant designer for streetwear label NIKITA she started her own label, Helicopter. She now works on two labels of her own, Helicopter is one of them and the other is named Bið að heilsa niðrí Slipp or BAHNS and is a concept label inspired by the sea and seamanship.
