To weave from rags is my reaction to the overwhelming amount of peoples‘ discarded garments and other textiles. Friends hand me their old garments, bed linen and other textiles. Almost all of it is up-cyclable. I don't dye the rags for environmental reasons, plenty has been dyed already. One can purchase new garments and other textiles for horribly cheap prices. How can cotton that has travelled such a long way be an inexpensive product ?
