Building research. 'Sniðmót fyrir steinsteypu'/ Flexible formwork for concrete construction/ Raised over 20 million ISK from various funds.
Rok restaurant/ A thoughtful restoration of an Icelandic stone house from the 20's to a contemporary restaurant. Live turf roof, black cladding and period sensitive details improve upon the modest original.
Aðalstræti 16, Bolungarvík
Originally built in 1909, in Látrar, Aðalvík, & moved to the town in 1930, the house was left severely damaged after a car crash. It is now being renovated & will gain life as municipal guest house.
International School of Iceland, Garðabær/ A simple, restrained volume rooted in green & STEAM principles with the wellbeing of the child and users taking centrestage. Ongoing/ ground breaking in summer 2022
